"It is only with the heart that one can see rightly; what is essential is invisible to the eye."

Gestalt Therapy - We work together

Gestalt therapy focuses on enhancing self-awareness and present moment experiences. Through this therapeutic approach, you can change your habitual behavioural patterns, find balance, and recover your mental and emotional well-being.

Therapeutic Relationship

I work relationally.

This means that the relationship between you and I becomes a tool for growth and change.

You will become more aware of how you relate to others, what your needs & expectations are and when/how you withdraw from contact with others.

Empathy and inclusion are the main ingredients in the therapeutic space. You can find acceptance of uncomfortable truths.

All of the above might lead to experiencing an improvement in  relationships in your life.

Present Moment

We only exist in this present moment.

Past experiences and our hopes & worries about the future also exist in the present moment, even if they relate to the past or future events.

You can connect to yourself now by sensing your body experiences, voicing your current feelings & thoughts.

Awareness in the here & now provides clarity for our day-to-day lives.

Wider Field

We are interconnected.

You and I both exist within the context of our environments. The factors that influence our wider fields include our social networks, family structures, childhood experiences, cultures, societal norms,  socio-political factors etc.

On the granular level, they will include our relational needs and expectations.

Exploring these field conditions leads to awareness of your own link in the chain.

Mind-Body Connection

We are all embodied beings. The whole spectrum of human experiences can be sensed in the body.

Our bodies hold more answers than we sometimes are aware of.

Some parts of our bodies might become painful due to unconscious tensing in that area.

Gestalt therapy can provide a space to re-connect to our bodies in the present moment.
